Misty Heath brings extensive experience in investigations, management, security, and operational oversight to EMT Holdings as the Acting Senior Director of Contractor Development.

A seasoned investigator with a distinguished background in both the public and private sectors, Misty’s career is marked by a proven ability to lead, ensure compliance, and develop effective training programs.
​
Her expertise spans both private sector and government roles, including serving as an Area Manager for Paragon Investigations, where she oversaw multiple investigators and coordinated large numbers of contractors across multiple states and territories. Prior to this, she served as a Field Investigator for Paragon, conducting sensitive background investigations for the Office of Personnel Management and coordinating contractors working on Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security investigations.

As an Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, Misty developed and implemented a critical Lessons-Learned program on Military Police Operations, mentored NCOs, and served as an Action Officer, providing key recommendations regarding domestic operations and assisting with emergency operations planning.
​
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Misty has a strong commitment to community service, actively volunteering as a manager for the Guantanamo Bay Community Garden. Under her leadership, this garden significantly expanded, becoming the primary plant material resource for landscaping throughout the base.

Misty earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Military Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. A military spouse of over 30 years, Misty has traveled the world with her spouse and two children.
