She specializes in contract start-up and program development and has over ten years of experience building and leading prime and subcontract programs. She is proficient and accomplished in evaluating program performance and project milestones that support and balance both business and customer objectives.
Lauren began her career in the background investigations industry over 20 years ago as a background investigator. Throughout her career, she served as a contractor liaison, investigator supervisor, and regional director before moving into program management. In 2016, she supported business development, capturing multiple federal contract awards. Her successful tenure in business development and program management led to her overseeing a portfolio of commercial and federal contracts within the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense.
Lauren volunteers with the local Area Agency on Aging, a non-profit organization with a mission to provide care management services that assist frail elders and their families. Her compassion and care for the elderly began while she was in college, having volunteered at a senior center for an extra credit project. The experience led to a life of volunteer service for the aging, a service she considers to be a privilege to provide.
Lauren received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from George Mason University. She resides in central Virginia with her husband, son, and golden retrievers. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and cheering for her son at his basketball games. In the coming years, she is looking forward to caring for and spending time with her dad on Lake Murray in South Carolina.
